Writing in Recursive
Every living thing is encoded in its own language. A field of wheat, the cream in your coffee, the pollen in the air – each has structure, movement and pattern. Is there not language in these places? Systems of biology and chemistry, perfected through time, came to be long before humans took pen to paper. Writing in Recursive is an animation that addresses pattern, both large and small. Notions of finding mathematics in nature and deconstructing symbolism are explored.
